Highlights of New York Fashion Week (NYFW)

Fashion

No surprises here! We saw a number of new and old trends at NYFW, which we would love to try. The best trends that emerged were: Mini- bell bottoms, Fringes, Plaid and Scallops.

Make up
Runways often set the trend to what’s in store for the next season’s looks. We loved the Glittery eye effect at Anna Sui, Sleek pony tails and buns at Oscar De La Renta, Calvin Klien, Reed Krakoff and Wes Gordon; Star tattoos at Tommy Hilfiger and nail art at Monique Lhuiller and Erin Fetherson.

Music

NYFW designers kept their audience at the edge of their seats, not only because of their eye-catching designs, but also their choice of music. Our picks from the very best are:

The Ronettes "Be My Baby" at Michael Kors
Starsweeper "Boneless - Workout Mix" at Alexander Wang
Villagers "Occupy Your Mind" at Wes Gordon

Street style

As the designers showcased their new collections, the people all over the world donned their very best to visit the fashion week.

The street styles we loved are:
Annie Georgia Greenberg, Rachel Zoe, Dani Stahl and these Jeremy Scott fans!
